...said that his daughter Ivanka had a "very nice figure" and "if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."
This occurred during a 2006 appearance on The View with Ivanka, then 24 years old. Former Trump administration official Miles Teller claimed that while president, Trump repeatedly commented on Ivanka's "breasts, her backside, and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that once led [White House chief of staff] John Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter."
...called American solders "suckers" and "losers" for dying in war or being wounded or captured. He refused to appear in public with military amputees because "it doesn't look good for me."

...lied and claimed that he had won the 2020 election, despite having lost by over 7 million in the popular vote and 74 in the Electoral College. His election lies prompted a mob of Trump supporters to attack the U.S. Capitol in a violent coup attempt on January 6th, 2021.
Trump watched the riot on TV for more than 3 hours and did nothing to stop it, despite members of his staff and government officials begging him to act. 174 police officers were wounded in the attack. After 187 minutes, he finally released a video telling the mob to go home. It was the first time in U.S. history that a president had refused to accept the results of an election and obstructed the peacful transition of power.
...downplayed the threat of COVID-19, undermined public health experts while suggesting useless or dangerous treatments such as ultraviolet light and injecting bleach, refused to wear a mask in public for 2 months and made fun of others for doing so, hosted huge campaign rallies while the virus spread out of control, and saw over 400,000 Americans die from COVID by the time he left office.
A February 2021 study published by The Lancet Commission estimated that about 40% of those deaths "could have been avoided if the country had handled the pandemic similarly to its wealthy peers".
...spent 307 days of his 4-year presidency on a golf course. That's almost an entire year. Trump's golf vacations cost taxpayers an estimated $151 million. Nearly all of them were at Trump-owned properties, drastically raising the costs.
At a campaign rally in August 2016, Trump said "I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go play golf."
...bragged that he was "able to kill Roe v. Wade." He appointed 3 far-right Supreme Court justices who voted to overturn the 50-year-old precedent that protected abortion rights across the entire country.
63% of Americans say abortion should be legal in all or most cases. Since Roe was overturned, 14 states have banned abortion, some without an exception for rape or incest. 11 states have enacted abortion restrictions that would have been illegal before Roe was overturned.
...refused to divest from any of his hundreds of businesses while president. Those businesses made over $2.4 billion in revenue from January 2017 to December 2020. Yet he claimed that he was "the only president that ever lost money while serving in office."
Trump made a show of "donating" his presidential salary. Meanwhile, he charged the Secret Service over $1.4 million to stay at his own properties while he was president. At times, he charged them 5x the government rate.
...called for the "termination" of the U.S. Constitution to overturn the 2020 election, two years after losing. He has threatened a "bloody" roundup and deportation of millions of undocumented immigrants. He has threatened to cut off federal funding for any school that requires vaccinations. He has threatened over and over to jail his political opponents. He has said "I have the right to do whatever I want as president" according to Article II of the Constitution.
Donald Trump really said and did these things.
It's easy to forget. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and exhausted by the flood of nonsense and lies and cruelty, after all these years. But we have to remember. The facts are out there, and this page provides a reminder of just a few of them. Think of all the things not listed above...

You wouldn't trust this man to watch your kids. You wouldn't trust him to run your business. You wouldn't trust him to tell the truth about anything that matters. So remember who he is, and vote to make sure he never steps foot in the White House again.
